Notes from our CEO at Westminster Insight: UK’s Arts, Culture and Creative Industries Conference
This week, our CEO Tamara Cincik attended the Westminster Insight: UK’s Arts, Culture and Creative Industries Conference. In a panel discussion, Tamara was asked how the environmental impact could be reduced by the creative industries as a whole.
Questions:
How can targets be set and monitored to minimise the environmental impact of the creative industries?
How can storytelling and inspiring narratives engage audiences in climate action?
How can partnerships with peers, supply chains, and stakeholders be strengthened to drive tangible environmental actions?

How can targets be set and monitored to minimise the environmental impact of the creative industries?
Targets are currently very focused around circular frameworks. Circular solutions in the fashion sector are valued at $73 billion globally, with resale as a business model, predicting an economic value of $476 billion by 2030.
Circular frameworks are complex and require stringent cradle-to-cradle policies in order to thrive and this is their downfall currently.
