Celebrating the Fashion Roundtable Podcasts
We interview fashion industry leaders and politicians in an intimate, honest series of podcasts
Our podcast takes you on a deep dive into the conversations we think you need to hear (and we know you will love) around sustainability, policy, fashion in the UK, and being a creative entrepreneur in today’s challenging market.
From speaking to Katharine Hamnett the first lady of fashion activism, to Diane Pernet from A Shaded View on Fashion, aka the Marie Antoinette of the Paris Fashion Week front row, or Stephen Jones OBE the milliner extraordinaire, or Shakaila Forbes-Bell whose book Big Dress Energy looks at how psychology can transform your understanding of not only who you are but how you use clothes to communicate that successfully, to our Fashion Director Karen Binns on why culture is luxury, we have hosted the most relevant and revelatory in fashion conversations.
Uniquely we have also hosted those with policy makers and politicians, from former Culture Minister turned Times Radio host and House of Lords Peer, Ed Vaizey, to Carolyn Harris MP who has single handedly changed government policy on legislation for women during the menopause, no mean feat for an opposition MP, and Peter Foster Financial Times policy editor whose book What Went Wrong with Brexit and What We Can Do About It “dispels the myths and, most importantly, shows what a better future for Britain after Brexit might look like. With clear-headed practicality, he considers the real costs of leaving the EU, how we can recover international trust in the UK, how to improve cooperation and trade with our neighbours, and how to begin to build the Global Britain that Brexit promised but failed to deliver.” These conversations and many more highlight why policy is for everyone about everything.
Driving your car, going for a run, or making your Sunday lunch, we hope you enjoy our Front Row to Front Bench podcast.
