The UK’s Environmental Audit Committee (EAC) met on 1st May 2024 for an evidence session on sustainability in the fashion industry to revisit aspects of a 2019 ‘Fixing Fashion’ landmark report into fast fashion.
Chair, Philip Dunne MP, who also spoke at our APPG meeting the day before, said he was ‘disappointed’ in 15 fast fashion firms who declined invitation to attend and give evidence, with only H&M and Boohoo attending.
